We have some very exciting news to share — Lucy and Alfie are expecting a beautiful litter of Cavoodle puppies in late October!
If all goes according to plan, these little ones will be ready to join their families the week before Christmas, making this an especially exciting litter to look forward to.
What Are We Expecting From Lucy & Alfie?
We are expecting a gorgeous combination of red and white Cavoodle puppies, with both fleece and shaggy coats possible in the litter.
As always, while genetics can give us an idea of what we may see, Mother Nature gets the final say — and that’s part of the excitement of waiting for a new litter to arrive!
Most importantly, we are hoping for beautiful, healthy puppies with lovely temperaments who will grow into wonderful family companions.
Raised the Harley & Co Way
Lucy and Alfie’s puppies will be born and raised with us at Harley & Co Cavoodles in Brisbane, Queensland, and will take part in our From Whelp to Woof! puppy prodigy program from their earliest days.
Their first weeks will begin with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) before gradually progressing to age-appropriate handling, sounds, different surfaces and textures, enrichment activities, grooming experiences, crate introduction and early training.
We believe those first eight weeks are about so much more than simply watching puppies grow. They are an opportunity to carefully introduce experiences that help prepare our puppies for the much bigger world waiting for them with their families.
Cavoodle Puppies Ready Before Christmas
With Lucy due in late October, we expect her puppies to be ready to leave us the week before Christmas.
While the timing is certainly rather magical, welcoming a puppy at Christmas is still a long-term commitment rather than a Christmas present. We carefully match our puppies with families who are prepared for everything that comes with bringing home a new puppy — during Christmas and for many years afterwards.
For families who have the time and flexibility to settle a puppy in over the Christmas and summer holiday period, however, the timing can be wonderful.
We can’t wait to meet Lucy and Alfie’s little ones and discover exactly what they’ve been hiding in there.
For now, it’s time for Lucy to enjoy plenty of rest, cuddles and special treatment while we count down the weeks.
